  • If you are applying for summer wrangler, please note carefully the dude ranch wrangler video requirements, or if you are nearby, plan to come ride with us! Folks seem to prefer uploading their videos onto – that works well.

  • 2014 Flood Damage repair: Those folks who can start on May 1st, to lead trail reconstruction teams (we will teach you how) will get first preference!
  • Please be aware that can no longer assist individuals obtain H2(b) visas. If you are not a documented U. S. citizen, or holding a green card, or a student J(1)visa, we are not able to employ you. I am very sorry, but the expense of obtaining H2(b) visas is just too great.

    If you are a J(1) student, we will seriously look at your credentials only AFTER receiving your information on our application format. This is a very small ranch, we hire J(1) students every year, but only those who are interested in following our procedures. If you are looking at J(1) brokers, I suggest that you include Shawn Kerfoot in your search – her family owns a small resort, and she understands this business ( We no longer work with CCUSA.

Our wranglers will never tell you to “get in line.” We don’t believe in lines!

We follow the standards of the American Association of Horsemanship Safety,and our wranglers are Safety Certified by the Dude Ranchers Association.

Concern for the Environment
We live the “No Trace” Ethic, which means that we do our best to leave a very small foot-print in our National Forest.

Pet Friendly
We are the only pet friendly dude ranch that we know! Your dog, if he/she is well mannered around children and other animals, is welcome!

Family Orientation
We enjoy sharing our lifestyle with people, especially families. We enjoy helping families play together.
