        A number of wranglers wear two hats such as rock climbing instruction, farrier, maintenance, computer management, marketing, etc.
        The wrangler-carpenter has two jobs, and will divide his/her time between the two jobs as priorities shift. As our new businesses grow, we foresee the possibility of this position moving towards a Facilities Manager position. Requires professional carpentry (both framing and finishing) experience and skill.

2.) As Construction Carpenter:

a. Other duties as assigned.

b. Inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, rebuilds, constructs, and maintains woodwork and other related structures as needed by the ranch.

c. Strong working knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures of carpentry.

d. A high degree of creativity and latitude is required. Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials. Inspects structures and furniture and conducts repairs or maintenance as needed. Relies on experience and judgment to plan (including making drawings, managing inventory and tools) and accomplish goals with very little supervision.

e. Current 2017 projects include:

Replacing garage doors with french doors and skylights

Building wheelchair ramps

Building outdoor furniture

Building outdoor bar-b-q

Repair/replacing aging decks

Building obstacles for “mini-tough-mudder” course

Welcome sign and “welcome station” for Disc Golf Course.

Storage shed under stairs of Carriage House.

Maybe building a BIG trebouchet or a BIG catapault

3.) As Maintenance Guy

a. Other duties as assigned.

b. Performs inspection and safety checks on buildings, vehicles, equipment, water systems, property and grounds.

c. Repairs buildings, furniture, vehicles, equipment, water systems, fence (e.g. carpentry, painting, electrical, etc.), and performs general grounds keeping to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for guests.

d. Manages tools, equipment and supplies inventories.

e. Arranges furniture and equipment for the purpose of providing adequate preparations for special events

f. Responds to emergency situations during and after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns
