Press Release: Colorado’s Favorite Dude Ranch, Sundance Trail Guest Ranch in Red Feather Lakes, CO, to Add Three New ‘Tough Mudder’ Styled Adventures for Summer 2015

Red Feather Lakes, CO (PRWEB) April 02, 2015

“This summer, Sundance Trail Guest Ranch, Colorado’s unique dude ranch, is adding three new adventures styled after the ‘Tough Mudder®’ obstacle courses. The Red Feather Lakes ranch is excited to offer these new ranch vacation experiences for their more adventurous clientele.

According to Sundance Trail Guest Ranch owner Dan Morin, “We are planning a series of obstacles and challenges out on the trails fashioned in the ‘Tough Mudder®’ style, but less insane. There will be three obstacle courses: one for singles, one for team building groups, and one for kids and horses.”

Tough Mudder®, the team military-style obstacle course designed to test physical strength and mental grit, has been growing in popularity since their start in 2010. Sundance Trail Guest Ranch’s goal is to offer the same challenge to their guests, while maintaining their current exciting offerings. Morin jokes, “We are committed to ensuring our guests will get very dirty, very tired and maybe a bit sore while they are here.”

As a part of this new expansion, the dude ranch will begin offering exciting new additions to their current line-up of vacation activities. These include an old fashioned sling-shot range perfect for families, a single person obstacle course to get clients’ hearts racing, and even Western-styled geocaching on the dude ranch! Geocaching is “a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices;” true to their style, Sundance Trail Guest Ranch will start their old Western-styled geocaching adventures in May.

Starting April 1, 2015, Sundance Trail Guest Ranch will begin the building process on the new obstacle courses. As they expand their adventurous new offerings (with a plan to add new obstacles each year), the Ranch will still offer their quality dude ranch activities, including horseback riding, river rafting, fishing, hiking, riflery, and much more.

“As much as we love the old west and love riding our horses, we understand that not every member of every family shares this love,” said Morin. “The collection of soft adventures will continues to grow and there will be something for everyone.” For more information visit http://www.sundancetrail.com, call (970) 224-1222, or email ride(AT)sundancetrail.com.”
