Covid19 Risk Management Practices

Ellen and Dan have both education and experience managing infectious disease risks. Dan holds a B.S. in Nursing and a Masters in Public Health. Ellen holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Nursing, and is a Nurse Practitioner with the Larimer County Public Health Department. We have ben practicing since the mid 1970’s.

Our practice complies with current Red Level (Level 4) Covid19 restrictions. Please note that compliance with these precautions is non-negotiable. Precautions that we take to manage risk of transmission include:

  • Clients/patients wear a face mask (over both mouth and nose) whenever inside any buildings, including the entire massage treatment.

  • Clients/patients wash their hands immediately before massage.

  • Both client/patient and Dan/Ellen wear masks whenever in the same room and during the entire treatment.

  • Ellen & Dan take their temperatures (and review symptom check list with all ranch staff) every morning. We will ask your permission to take your temperature (using no-touch forehead thermometer) before starting treatment.

  • Ellen/Dan wash hands before entering the Massage Therapy room, and sanitize their hands after entering the Massage Therapy room before touching client/patient.

  • During the massage, Dan/Ellen will not touch the mask and will sanitize the client/patient’s hands before applying oil.

  • We can no longer use massage creams. We use only vegetable oils and pump bottles.
